Zoo York is an iconic American skateboarding brand founded in 1993 in New York City by skaters Rodney Smith, Eli Morgan Gesner, and Adam Schatz. It was the first major East Coast skateboard company, heavily influenced by NYC’s gritty street culture, graffiti, and hip-hop scene. The brand is known for its durable, street-focused, and affordable skateboards and apparel. 

The skateboards are manufactured by Chapman, one of the best American woodshops.

• Deck: A 7-ply Hard Rock Maple or Canadian Maple deck, featuring a double kicktail and medium concave. They often feature "OG 95" or city-inspired graphics and come in various widths, commonly 7.75" to 8.25".
• Trucks: Zoo York branded (ZY) alloy trucks with standard kingpins and hangers. They are equipped with 88A bushings for a balance of stability and responsiveness. 
• Wheels: Zoo York PU-casted (polyurethane) wheels, 52mm in diameter. They are a 99A durometer rating, making them ideal for street skating and power slides.
• Bearings: ABEC-7 rated bearings, designed for speed and smooth riding.
• Griptape: Black medium-grit griptape, which comes pre-applied to the top of the deck.
• Hardware: Standard Phillips-head nuts and bolts to secure the trucks to the deck.
